Oral Health CRC Annual Research Conference

Thursday, May 24, 2012

The inaugural Oral Health CRC Annual Research Conference (ARC) was held 30 - 31 May 2011. Researchers from the University of Melbourne, Monash University and the University of Queensland gathered to present their research outcomes to date.

The ARC provided an opportunity for the ~150 research staff and students to meet and discuss their work. Feedback on the ARC has been very positive, with a particular highlight being the presentations by students. Congratulations go to Gareema Prasad for her winning 10 minute presentation, "The development of a robust method for microRNA analysis of potentially malignant oral mucosal lesions", and to Jacqueline Heath for her winning 5 minute presentation, "The Kgp adhesin binding motif ABM1".

The next ARC will be held 24 - 25 May 2012.
